My periods have been irregular for months. Should I be worried?
Sometimes they come after 20 days, sometimes after 50.

Irregular periods are really common. Stress, big changes in weight or exercise, illness, travel, and conditions like PCOS or thyroid problems can all change your cycle, and periods are often irregular for a few years after they start. If there’s any chance you could be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test first. See a doctor (a gynaecologist) if you’ve gone three months or more without a period, your bleeding is very heavy, or you have a lot of pain. It’s usually easy to find out what’s going on.
